William graduated from Stellenbosch University with an LLB. He was admitted as an Attorney in 2011 and subsequently joined an established firm in Somerset West. Initially, his practice encompassed general civil litigation and criminal law, but since 2014, he has focused primarily on criminal law. In 2023, William joined Mathewson Gess Incorporated and assumed the role of Director in 2025.
