Ben, the Founding Director, qualified with a Dip Iuris, B Proc, LLB (UNISA) and a Masters degree in Criminal Justice (LLM) from the University of Cape Town. He is admitted to the List of Counsel of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, is a full member of the International Criminal Court Bar Association (ICCBA) and has been practicing criminal law since 1994. Ben also lectures in criminal law part-time. As a highly skilled trial lawyer, who started his career as a Prosecutor, his fields of expertise are Bail Applications, Criminal Trials, Appeals to the High Courts of South Africa, Supreme Court of Appeal, Constitutional Court and International Criminal Law.
Josua obtained the following qualifications in commerce and law: BCom Hons (UPE), MComm (US), BProc (UNISA), LLB (UNISA) and BDP (US). He holds the position of Director and has Right of Appearance in the High Court. Josua has experience in all aspects of criminal litigation.
André completed his LLB degree at the University of the Western Cape in 2001. He has been practicing criminal law since 2002, and is an all-round experienced criminal litigator with a sub-speciality of his being immigration law and related cases. He has an affinity for drug-related offences, offences relating to contravention of the Marine Living Resources Act and immigration-related offences. Due to his vast experience in facilitating bail after-hours, he has built relationships with many of the role-players in the world of after-hours criminal litigation.
